Reduce motion effects

Turns off animated pipe pulses and line-draw effects, including the pipe-by-pipe replay when opening a shared puzzle link.

Show dictionary provenance badges

Shows which dictionary accepted each word (Primary, Fallback, or Both). Default is off for a cleaner board.

Free Chain mode

Skip the letter-chaining requirement between words — no auto-filled starting letters, solve at your own pace. A "Free Chain" badge shows on the board while it's active. Opening a shared puzzle link may turn this on temporarily to match how it was played, without changing this setting.

Welcome to Letter Punk

Friendly, familiar, and a little freer than classic Letter Boxed.

Tap a letter to add it, or type it on your keyboard. Consecutive letters must come from different sides of the board.
Tap the same letter twice in a row to double it — double letters are welcome here.
Each new word must start with the last letter of the previous word — unless Free Chain mode is on (Settings), which drops that requirement entirely.
Words need 3+ letters and must be real dictionary words.
Use every letter on the board to solve it. There's no word limit, so take your time.
Undo Letter and Undo Word fix mistakes as you go.
